Yesterday marked the last day of Dia de Los Muertos for many union members celebrating the holiday.
At SEIU Local 1, union members and leaders came together to celebrate, creating vibrant and beautiful altars honoring their loved ones. Each altar was adorned with cempasúchil flowers (marigolds) and filled with cherished memories, including favorite foods and drinks of family and friends who have passed.
The altars also paid tribute to generations of workers whose strength, resilience, and sacrifices continue to inspire our fight for dignity, justice, and a better future for all working people.
